KiAI Inc. (Headquarters: Ibaraki, Japan; CEO: Kazumasa Oba) is pleased to announce that it has received the top prize, the “Fighting Spirit Award,” at the STARTUP LEAGUE program.

The award recognizes KiAI’s new business initiative to support global expansion for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using AI agents.

In particular, the initiative was recognized for combining AI-based analysis with human expertise through collaboration with IACE Travel Inc., creating a new approach to ensuring the reliability and authenticity of overseas business intelligence.

Many Japanese SMEs possess world-class technologies and products but face barriers when expanding overseas, including limited access to reliable local information and difficulties verifying potential partners. KiAI addresses these challenges by combining AI-driven market intelligence with on-the-ground verification through global networks.

With this recognition as a milestone, KiAI will continue advancing product development and customer adoption, aiming to build an infrastructure that enables Japanese SMEs to successfully access global markets.

This recognition highlights not only our new AI agent–driven global expansion support initiative, but also our collaboration with IACE Travel to combine AI with human expertise to ensure reliable overseas business intelligence. By integrating digital analysis with real-world local networks, we aim to create an environment where Japanese SMEs can confidently expand into global markets. Encouraged by this recognition, we will continue building infrastructure that supports the international growth of Japanese companies.”
