KiAI Inc. (Headquarters: Hitachi, Ibaraki; CEO: Kazumasa Oba) is pleased to announce that on April 20, 2026, CEO Kazumasa Oba met with Kenji Fujita, the Mayor of Hitachiota City, to discuss regional industrial promotion and support for the global expansion of local manufacturers.

During the meeting, Mr. Oba presented KiAI’s overseas business execution service, “Trst,” which integrates his 15 years of experience as an economist at the World Bank Group and OECD with advanced AI technology. He specifically proposed how AI-driven rapid research combined with on-site verification can help local industries overcome barriers such as labor shortages and language gaps to successfully enter international markets.

Mayor Fujita expressed strong interest in revitalizing local businesses and provided significant support for building networks with city enterprises and the Chamber of Commerce. The meeting concluded with a firm handshake in front of the city backdrop, confirming a shared commitment to bringing Hitachiota’s technology to the world stage.

KiAI will continue to work closely with Hitachiota City and local support organizations to contribute to the further development and globalization of the regional economy by combining AI technology with local trust.

[CEO Comment] Kazumasa Oba, CEO of KiAI Inc. “It was an honor to share our vision and services directly with Mayor Fujita. While the North Ibaraki region is home to many companies with world-class technologies, significant hurdles remain for overseas market development. With the Mayor’s encouragement and the upcoming collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, we are committed to making the flow of ‘from local to global’ a reality through the power of AI.”
